Job Listing: Junior Associate
Trippi & Associates is seeking a Junior Associate to help with online communications in our Washington, DC office. In addition to client work, this position will require part-time assistant work, including scheduling. Qualified candidates will have a good understanding of American politics and online mediums (social networks, email, blogs, YouTube, etc.). Web development skills are preferred but not required.
Position Responsibilities:
- 60% – Client management: work directly with political campaigns and non-profits on online communications and fundraising. Tasks will include strategy consulting, blogging, email drafting, integration of web-tools, and social network outreach. There will also be work in production of Internet and television media.
- 40% – Internal firm management: manage the scheduling and travel arrangements for Joe Trippi.
Qualifications:
- Proven and highly effective organizational and communication skills. Strong writing skills are essential.
- Ability to multitask and shift priorities; willingness to work long hours depending on work demands.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with HTML, photoshop, and Content Management Sytems (Drupal, Joomla, etc.) is preferred.
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience and skill-set, plus annual bonus. Healthcare insurance provided.
